21st Annual Fall Festival & Hawk Watch

Join Audubon + Canon at Audubon Greenwich, September 14–15, for a unique event that brings birds and photography together in a whole new way.

Register for Birds in Focus, a guided bird walk led by an Audubon naturalist and a Canon photography pro as you try out the latest and greatest cameras, lenses, and binoculars available. Experts from Milford Camera will be on hand to provide information and advice on all the gear. Walks are 45 minutes and will depart from the main building at the Audubon Center in Greenwich.

On Sunday afternoon, you can join the festivities of the 21st Annual Fall Festival & Hawk Watch. Try out the latest Canon camera gear at a special festival experience, capture portraits of some amazing raptors and get photography tips from a Canon pro. The festival is an exciting, family-friendly nature event celebrating the fall season and annual migration of raptors. You can enjoy: a live raptor show, rehabilitated Hawk releases, petting zoo, hayrides, local exhibitors, and delicious food!

During your visit to the Center, walk the trails and enjoy the natural beauty of almost 700 acres of protected wildlife habitat. Plus, you can get inspired by the 2019 Audubon Photography Awards exhibit, and learn photo tips and tricks from Canon camera experts while getting up close and personal with an amazing array of birds.

About the Audubon Center
Gifted by Eleanor & Hall Clovis and opened in 1943, the Greenwich Main Sanctuary property is recognized as the first educational nature center of the National Audubon Society. From its inception, Audubon Greenwich has welcomed visitors to its sanctuaries and provided nature education programs for adults and children. Over time, Audubon Greenwich has grown to include seven sanctuaries and other private parcels, totaling 686 acres of protected wildlife habitat. Today, more than 20,000 people visit Audubon Greenwich each year to enjoy all that its nature center, sanctuaries, and trails have to offer.

Festival Admission

Please note that this year’s celebration is One Day ONLY. All parking will be at the Shuttle Lot located at Harvest Time Church at 1338 King Street. Passenger drop-off at the Audubon Center in Greenwich main gate/entrance is permitted.​ The Fall Festival & Hawk Watch is a rain or shine event.
