The theme for this weekend in Brookfield is Craft Fairs! On Saturday, get a jump on your holiday shopping and visit the 29th Annual “Festival of Crafts” Craft Fair at Whisconier Middle School and St Marguerite’s Fall Festival(Vendor and Craft Fair) which is also offering a Victorian Tea Luncheon. Be sure to stop in to the Holiday Craft Fair At Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church too!

For those looking to get items crossed off their to-do lists there’s a Flu Vaccine Clinic at The YMCA Greenknoll Branch and a Hazardous Waste drop-off at the Danbury Public Works. Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night!

On Sunday there’s a Veterans Day Concert at the Brookfield Library sponsored by the Brookfield Historical Society and the Jason D. Lewis Brookfield Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10201. Musician Billy Michael will perform at a free concert to honor local Brookfield and area veterans on Sunday afternoon. He will be accompanied by Soprano Arianna Carlo and three other female vocalists from the Jazz for Juniors Band. Following the performance, complimentary refreshments will be served. The public is invited to show support to our veterans and the local men and women currently serving in the Armed Forces.
