Carrying on the Family Tradition- A Little Bit Eatery

The owner Little Bit Eatery, Alessandra Incorvaia, is carrying on the family tradition. Her parents owned and operated a restaurant in Danbury for over 30 years so she began to learn the business at an early age. However, the story really begins with her grandfather, Angelo Incorvaia. Angelo arrived from Sicily over 50 years ago at the age of 17 and opened his first restaurant 4 years later. Since then, he has owned several restaurants Italia Mia, Nick’s, Angelos’s and Bella Italia.
When the opportunity to purchase the deli became available, Alessandra knew that “it was the right time and the right place”.
When she discussed what kind of establishment she should run with her family, her father suggested a place that would serve “a little bit of everything”. A slogan was born and the name Little Bit Eatery came naturally.
Alessandra’s future plans include catering as well as offering family-sized meals that people can pick up for lunch or dinner.
