TownAppeal is thrilled to welcome La Piazza Brookfield to Brookfield. The pizzeria opened on 1/28/21 in Brookfield Town Center. We caught up with manager Francesco Bagala on 3/8/21. His love of food is contagious. Franceso and his uncle have 40 years combined experience in the restaurant business. This is their 6th restaurant, including two in New York; Pepetini in Cornwall-On-Hudson and Pizza 300 in Newburgh.
Hailing from Calabria and Naples, they are eager to share their love of all things Italian with their customers. The pizzeria and restaurant’s stunning décor features granite, marble and leather imported from Italy.
Grandma’s Pizza is one of their best sellers; it’s made with a thin square crust and topped with marinara, parmesan cheese, garlic, and fresh basil. The Hartford Burger Deluxe, sourced with local beef, is another best seller.
La Piazza also offer a wide variety of specialty and Sicilian pizzas, pasta, entrées, wraps, heros, and rolls. TownAppeal highly recommends their Eggplant Pizza Roll. Their desserts are a fan favorite.
Looking for something out of the box? Try the new Italian Hot Dog Pizza Wheele which is stuffed with hot dogs, French fries, ketchup, mayonnaise and mozzarella cheese.
The adjacent restaurant will open sometime in the spring. It will offer an authentic fine dining experience. The bar/lounge seats 32 people and the dining room seats 52. The restaurant will also boast a 22 person patio. Stay tuned for more details!
